Jinan University

Jinan University (JNU) is often referred to as the "Paramount Academy of Overseas Chinese." Founded in 1906, it is one of the oldest universities in China and holds a unique status for having the largest number of international students in the country. It is a "Double First-Class" university with a strong reputation in economics, journalism, and medicine.

JNU operates across five campuses in three cities, providing a massive network across the Pearl River Delta:

  • Shipai Campus (Main): Located in Tianhe District, Guangzhou. It is the administrative heart and home to the International School.

  • Panyu Campus (South): A modern, expansive campus in Guangzhou focused on new disciplines and research.

  • Guangyuan Dong Campus: Located in Guangzhou, primarily for the College of Chinese Language and Culture.

  • Zhuhai Campus: Situated in the beautiful coastal city of Zhuhai, neighboring Macau.

  • Shenzhen Campus: Located in the Overseas Chinese Town (OCT) area of Shenzhen, focusing on tourism and local industries.
